Montgomery, Alabama:
Huntsville, Alabama:Since its establishment in 1999, the Huntsville Regional Office has worked diligently to serve all 9 surrounding counties; Morgan, Jackson, Winston, Limestone, Lawrence, Colbert, Lauderdale and Franklin and Madison County in which it is located. Seraaj Family Homes Inc. Huntsville Regional Office, I believe “is the hub for Quality Therapeutic Foster Care and wraparound Services for all North Alabama Counties.” We embrace passion in serving humanity and are enthusiastic about the transformation of attitudes towards Therapeutic Foster Care. We remain committed to exemplify the values of a community spirit in the services we provide. Indeed we are available 24-hours 7 days-a-week. The Huntsville Region is a member of the Huntsville Chamber of Commerce and has established partnerships with Organization of Small Business Owners. We are involved in church community programs, sponsor community events and make donations to charitable programs. Indeed serving humanity is what we do best.
Oxford, Alabama:The Oxford regional office was established in February of 1999. Oxford began by providing only Wrap-Around Services, which peeked at 90 consumers. Later on that year, Oxford began to provide Therapeutic Foster Care and has continued to endow the community with its 24-hour/7 days a week services. Since its establishment, the Oxford regional office has meticulously worked to serve its 10 surrounding counties: Blount, Calhoun, Clay, Coosa, Crenshaw Etowah, Jefferson, Madison, Marshall and Talladega. The region is a proud associate of the Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce and has participated in many community events which include: Oxfordfest Festival; Oxford Christmas Parade, Jacksonville Festival; Jacksonville Christmas Parade, Anniston Juneteenth festival; Anniston Christmas Parade; Sylacauga Christmas Parade; Sylacauga Crazy Dazes; Sylacauga Veteran Day Celebration; National Foster Care Awareness Month Events; YMCA Healthy Kids Day; Chamber of Commerce events; and the Department of Human Resources (DHR) functions. In addition to the local event participation, the Oxford region sponsors events for our children and foster parents such as: Our annual Winter, Summer, Spring and Fall picnics and banquets to recognize the achievements of our children, to salute our outstanding Professional Family Teachers and to recognize our dedicated staff.
Homewood, Alabama:This region was transferred from Birmingham-Southside to Homewood, Alabama in December, 2005. Since its establishment in 1995 at the Southside location, the Birmingham Regional Office has worked diligently to serve its 4 surrounding counties: Jefferson; Tuscaloosa; Shelby; and Walker. Marcella Dale, the regional manager, states that the Birmingham region is the "nucleus" of Seraaj Family Homes, Inc. and embraces families throughout the community with 24-hour 7 day-a-week service from motivated, energetic staff. The Southside Region is a member of the Birmingham Area Chamber of Commerce, Net Link, and Jefferson County Children’s Policy Council. Southside sponsors special events such as annual picnic for consumers and staff, Banquets, DHR Special Events and Function at the Junction.
Gadsden, AlabamaSince its establishment in June of 2002, the Gadsden regional office has worked diligently to serve its 5 surrounding counties: Etowah, Marshall, DeKalb, Cherokee and Blount. The region is a proud member of the Chamber of Commerce and has served in many community events which include: G.R.I.T.S. Festival; Liberty Day Festival; events with the Department of Recreation; YMCA Healthy Kids Day; Chamber of Commerce events; Cultural Arts Center; and DHR functions.
Cullman, AlabamaSince its establishment in 2002, the Cullman regional office has worked diligently to serve its 3 surrounding counties: Cullman, Blount and Winston. The region is a proud member of the Chamber of Commerce and is eager to serve the community.
Washington, D.C.Washington DC Regional office was established in April of 2004 in Southeast DC. The office was then relocated to its present location of 817 Varnum St. NE. Since its establishment in the DC metro area, Seraaj Family Homes Inc. has worked diligently to establish itself as the leading source in therapeutic foster care and wrap around services. Although new to the District of Columbia, Seraaj Family Homes is not new to providing quality care for children and families for over 18 years. Seraaj Family Homes, Inc. has partnered with Managed Care Organizations such as Health Services for Children with Special Needs (HSCSN) and Amerigroup to provide in home and office base therapy to the residents of Washington D.C. Seraaj Family Homes, Inc. received the Child Placing License for the District of Columbia in April of 2005. Seraaj was then awarded a contract with the District of Columbia Child and Family Service Agency for therapeutic foster care. Seraaj Family Homes, Inc began making history in the Washington DC when we licensed our first home and placed our first child on April 24, 2005. Seraaj Family Homes, Inc. made history again when we received our Child Placing License for the state of Maryland in May of 2006 and placed our first child in this state within the same month. Seraaj currently have an office located in Hyattsville, Md. Washington, DC and the Maryland office are both under the leadership of Ivory McMillian. In keeping with the traditions that have been apart of Seraaj Family Homes for many years, we celebrate the achievements of our children and foster parents through quarterly achievement nights, annual picnics, and banquets.
